What is the best form of exercise to lose weight?

Hello. I'm 150cm and weighs 58 pounds. I am willing to lose a few pounds (probably 10 to over me) and I was wondering what are the best forms of exercise to lose weight? such as walking, swimming, running, cycling, etc. I heard swimming and walking does nothing: (Is this true? I've been eating healthily and walking for an hour every day. I also joined a football club and I'll join the gym.

Strength training is an excellent way to build a little muscle which will help your body burn more fat, to help you lose fat. Interval training on a treadmill or elliptical (or sidewalk) 5 days per week would you benefit as well.
